THE VILLA
Echoing Dream Resort sits beneath a canopy of coconut palms and old mango trees in Baddegama, a quiet village a short drive inland from Hikkaduwa. The villa has kept its original hipped, clay-tile roof and whitewashed verandahs; its garden is loosely wild rather than manicured, its pool deck built from reclaimed timber that has silvered in the sun.
Little here has been done for show. A cart wheel salvaged from the old estate still hangs by the veranda wall, and the frangipani drops its flowers onto the lawn every morning. Four bedrooms, an in-house chef and a private pool make it equally at home hosting a family retreat, a small wedding, or a single traveller who wants the whole garden to themselves.

Yes — we offer day-out packages for couples, families and groups who'd like to enjoy the pool, garden and grounds without an overnight stay. Message us with your preferred date and group size and we'll arrange it.
Yes. The pool, garden and pool deck are exclusive to Echoing Dream Resort's guests — there is no shared access with other properties.
Our in-house chef prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner on request, using local and seasonal ingredients. Let us know your preferences and any dietary needs when you book.
Echoing Dream Resort sits in Baddegama, roughly a 20–30 minute drive from both Galle Fort and Hikkaduwa's beaches — close enough for an easy day trip, far enough to stay quiet.
